Laggings are made from:
Highly hardened Polystyrene EPS100 (Polystyrene used in the floor insulation e.g in parking lots)
Medium Hard Polystyrene EPS 80 (Polystyrene used in the insulation of the facade).
Application:
Polystyrene is one of the best insulating materials, it consists in 98% from the air closed in the structure of the polystyrene. This is an undoubted asset of polystyrene as an eco-friendly insulation material. The polystyrene lagging is an insulating medium in pipelines protecting them from, both, high and low temperatures.
Product Features:
Polystyrene Laggings are preserving their thermal insulation characteristics in a wide temperature range: from -100 C to 70 Celsius degrees and the warm ratio is λ = 0,040 W/(mK).
Besides having good thermal insulation characteristics the polystyrene from which the laggings are made, are not solved in ground, water, is resistant to dust bacteria and fungi.
Installation:
Laggings are made with feather joints which make the installation easier.
It is recommended to apply on an pipeline an adequate securing covering.
