Straight Quoin

Quoin is a joint highlighting the arrangement of stones or groove in the plaster which gives the facade a suitable monumental character. Quoin profiles or corner quoins can be mounted on the entire facade or just on a plinth or wall corners.

It is a very original architectural decorative element. The product is made of high quality expanded polystyrene EPS 100, which is coated with a special polymer with polymer - quartz imitating the look of natural sandstone.

Straight facade quoins and their application

The facade quoins, apart from their aesthetic values, protect the most vulnerable points of the wall, corners or shutters against mechanical damage. Sometimes all it takes is to gently hit the corner to destroy the plaster layer, which will allow moisture to quickly reach the rest of the corner. Quoins eliminate this possibility.

It should not be forgotten that the wall facade quoins is an element that allows for deepening the window opening. Owing to this, rain and wind will not reach the windows and shutters so much, thus cooling the interior of the building - which may be of particular importance in the autumn and winter period.
