MD070 Lighting profile

The MD070 lighting skirting board is a profile with a gently curved form that fits perfectly into the contemporary art of design. The skirting board is made from modern, damage-resistant PolyForce material and features innovative LightGuard® technology, which allows the installation of an LED strip.

The MD070 lighting strip is the answer to the needs of contemporary interior design. It is not only a tasteful decoration giving the room a unique charm, but also a practical wall light. The profile allows for the insertion of an LED strip, while the special LightGuard® technology diffuses the light, eliminating the diodes from shining through. The optimum height of the strip makes it ideal for high rooms. The MD070 is UV and water resistant thanks to the use of PolyForce. It is suitable for any interior, including those with high levels of humidity and strong sunlight. The light bar has been prepared for painting. A special primer makes it easier to spread the colour over the surface and guarantees a long-lasting paint finish.

	Waterproof The skirting board is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In case of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the skirting board.
	UV-resistant The skirting board, thanks to special finishing and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Mounting the skirting board in a sunny location will not cause it to yellow or discolour.
	Resistant to swelling Mardom Decor skirting boards, unlike skirting boards made of MDF and other materials, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
	Primer-coated skirting board The skirting board is covered in the factory with a special primer which has smoothing and protecting properties and makes it easier to spread subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the skirting board with any water-based paint after installation.
	LightGuard® technology The skirting board features the unique LightGuard® technology, which completely prevents the LEDs from spotlighting through the surface of the skirting board. The PolyForce® material from which the skirting board is made is incredibly dense and enriched with specialist enhancers, allowing light to diffuse beautifully around the profile. The back side of the skirting board with LightGuard® technology has specially shaped spaces for the insertion of the LED strip. This allows the light to fall at an angle that gives the best illumination effect. Sticking a LED strip to a skirting board that does not have LightGuard® technology results in unsightly gaps
	For use with LED lighting The specially shaped inner side of the skirting board has space for inserting an LED strip. This allows you to achieve the effect of softly illuminating the room.
